![]() ![]() I’m no author but (IMO) in a book about romance I didn’t think the wedding details. So you end up being a wee bit of a picky critic when you start to wince at the female narrator’s voice and wishing it were someone else’s much-loved voice instead. The trouble with good narrators is that they totally spoil you with their flawless performances bringing books to life and making them enjoyable five star listens. Because of the narration maybe, I just couldn’t commit to the story and also got fed up hearing how hot, handsome and sexy he was and what his dimples did to her. Deranged off the rails ex (her side) jealous model (his side) cause problems along the way along with misunderstandings and another ‘situation’ causes insecurities. then fireworks and a tentative relationship is formed. but months later shoots in the same location brings them together again. Hectic jobs, busy schedules, the world is his oyster. ![]() ![]() and tattooed, pierced, successful fashion photographer with blue hair and eleven yrs older than him. new, slightly insecure twenty-one yr old sexy, handsome, good boy male model. Sorry, but this book wasn’t for me - Lacy Laurel’s voice and over-pronounced words ended up grating on me and I wished that Connor Crais had narrated the whole book because he was much better. SORRY, BUT I COULDN’T GET ON WITH THE NARRATION ![]()
